With this post, you will learn how to scan documents using the HP Photosmart 5510 series printer.
Scanning documents is a pretty simple task, in this post, we will show you an easy way to scan documents using the HP Photosmart 5510 series printer. There are different procedures to scan documents, through the Control Panel of the printer, or with the help of a software.
Both procedures are simple, we recommend using the buttons on the Control Panel of the printer, this is the faster and easier procedure. Before starting with the scanning procedure, verify that the printer and the computer are properly connected and are operational. Make sure there is no error such as paper jams, ink cartridge problems (...).
If the printer is connected via the USB cable, you can scan documents just by pressing the scan button on the control panel of the printer. However, if the printer is connected via wireless network additional configurations are needed, the scanner needs to be set in wireless mode.
The display screen located on the top right corner of the printer will display scanning and then you will ask you where you would like to save the document, if in a memory card or computer. Select the best option for you.
