Step #1:
Turn your printer OFF and disconnect the power cable.
This will keep the printer from becoming blocked, so please do this before following the other steps of this tutorial.
Step #2:
Please check if the barrel the carriage glides on feels greasy. If it doesn’t, use 3-in-1 oil on it to make it greasy.
Step #3:
You can now move the entire printhead, which is where the ink cartridges are located, softly from the left side to the right one, always reaching the ends of the barrel. Repeat this three times in a row and keep an eye out for any paper resides or foreign part in your printer that may be blocking the carriage.
Step #4:
Finally, check the sponges by the ink cartridges inside the printer, just in case there’s something on them. If you have to clean them, do it carefully and please put them back in before turning the printer on.
