This post will teach you all you need to know to refill your HP 12 ink cartridges in six hassle-free steps.
In this post, we will demonstrate in six easy steps how to refill the Hp 12 ink cartridge, this ink cartridge has mainly been created for the HP business series printer. The yield page for this cartridge is up to 2000 pages, the colors available are cyan, magenta, and yellow; the cartridges are predominantly made of dye ink.
The Hp 12 ink cartridge can easily be refilled like most of the Hp ink tank with removable ink cartridges. Please carefully follow the step below to refill your ink cartridge and avoid damaging it.

Materials needed for the refill:
Before starting this process, you have to identify each color properly to avoid making mistakes during the refilling process. If you happen to make a mistake and refill the ink with the wrong color, you might just need to discard the ink cartridge.
Please, place the black piece of fabric on the top of the flat surface before starting with the refill process.
Step #2:
Now carefully remove the bottom part of the ink cartridge as shown in the picture below. By removing this part, you will be able to locate the ink cartridge injector, the pump, and the refill spot.
Please cut the label right where the red line has been drawn, cut exactly as indicated in the picture above.
Step #3:
Once the label is removed, your ink cartridge will look like the image below. Take some times analyzing the different spots, we have put arrows on them. Now try to remove the small back rubber part, do it very delicately to avoid damaging it or pushing it back into the ink cartridge. This rubber ball has been marked with #1 is the following picture
Step #4:
You can now fill each syringe with the right color of ink to start the process. If you are using the normal ink cartridge size, add 30 ml of ink to each syringe. however, if you are using the extra-large large ink cartridge, add 50 ml of ink to each syringe.
Please, only use the tip of the needle when refilling the cartridge to avoid damaging the metal layer inside the ink cartridge.
Step #5:
After slowly refilling the ink cartridge. put the small rubber ball back into the ink cartridge. Do not push it into the ink cartridge or lose this part because it is very hard to replace.
Once you have put the rubber ball back, put the cartridge on the piece of cloth covering the flat surface, just to check there if the cartridge is not leaking, especially where the spot where you removed the small rubber ball.
Step #6:
Finally, put the lower lid back on the ink cartridge, and leave it exactly as indicated in step #5. Your ink cartridge should now print perfectly if you have correctly followed these steps.
