In order to run the software, you must put the printer in service mode:
- Access the service mode of the Canon PIXMA MX391 printer
- Turn OFF the printer by using the (ON/OFF button)
- Press and hold the STOP/RESET button (circle button with a triangle inside) without releasing the STOP/RESET button, press the power button (ON/OFF) the printer should blink green.
- Release the STOP/RESET button and press the power button.
- Without releasing the power button, you must press the STOP/RESET button 5 times, each time the STOP/RESET button must turn orange.
When this procedure is completed, no information should appear on the printer screen. You can release the power button, If this is not the case please turn the printer OFF and restart the process from the beginning.
In the image above, you will see the option available for your computer and follow the instructions below to reset the printer pads.
Top options in the print section, click on EEPROM, then on the bottom Ink Absorber Counter click on set what corresponds to Absorb. The option for Canon PIXMA MX391 pads, selection pads restoration.
