Learn how to get rid of paper jams on your Canon printers by following a very simple procedure.
Canon printers are one of the most efficient printers in the market, sold around the world recognized by some consumers as the best device for the Continous Ink System even if I disagree with this last statement. One of the most undesirable issues on the Canon printers is the paper jam and the paper feed, despite their good quality and efficiency these errors are still happening.
These errors are common in printers with paper feed design, especially when the paper feed upward, for example, HP Deskjet 1000 series and most Canon Inkjet printers.
As seen in the image, the arrow shows the upper paper tray where the sheet of papers are inserted when the printing process starts.
The design of this paper tray makes it easier for undesirable items or even insects to get inside the printer through this part, a pencil can easily fall there and cause a paper jam error an so on.
Therefore is important to keep this area cover to prevent any kind of dirt or unexpected object from falling inside the printer.
We recommend using a paper sheet or cardboard and place it on the top to cover this open area. And always carefully removed any dirt or objects found inside the printer and which are not supposed to there.
